MI London launches ‘Content Creator Programme’
to discover the next generation of cricket content creators

MI London today announced the launch of the MI London Creator Programme, a new initiative designed to discover, support and showcase the next generation of digital content creators by giving them unique access at The Hundred’s most successful franchise.

The Creator Programme will invite social media content creators to apply for the opportunity to become part of an exclusive group who will receive access to MI London home matches at the Kia Oval, opportunities to create content around the team and venue, and the chance to grow their own audiences while documenting their experience.

The programme aims to identify between five and ten creators whose content style, creativity and storytelling ability fit with MI London’s aim to continue to bring cricket closer to new audiences.

Creators will be housed in the MI London Creator Centre at the Kia Oval in close proximity to the Player Dugouts and the pitch. Creators will also receive some exclusive MI London merchandise.

The initiative forms part of MI London’s commitment to innovation, growing the sport through the creators and their communities. By opening its doors to emerging talent, the team hopes to expand the reach of cricket content and create opportunities for creators who may not otherwise gain access to elite sporting environments.

Applications for the MI London Creator Academy will open via the link below, with creators invited to submit examples of their work, target audience and a short statement explaining why they should be selected. Applicants will be assessed on creativity, storytelling ability, content quality and alignment with the values of MI London.

Selected creators will gain access to MI London matchdays and other exclusive opportunities throughout the season, allowing them to create content that brings fans closer to the action than ever before.
