Head Coaches Lisa Keightley and Kieron Pollard have put together vastly experienced coaching teams for MI London this summer

MI London is a partnership between 51% owners Surrey County Cricket Club and the 49% stake owned by Reliance Industries. With this, many of the coaches are faces familiar with both Surrey and the MI family.

Surrey Women’s Head Coach Johann Myburgh joins Lisa Keightley’s staff as Batting Coach. Dan Helesfay, Surrey Women’s Bowling Coach, also joins Keightley’s staff for the tournament. Former Australia bowler Kristen Beams is Lisa’s Assistant Coach, with the pair previously working together at Northern Superchargers in The Hundred, Sydney Thunder in the WBBL, Mumbai Indians in the WPL and the Australia U19 Women’s team.

Surrey men’s Head Coach Gareth Batty joins Pollard’s staff as Assistant Coach. The two are former teammates, having shared a dressing room when Pollard played for Surrey in 2022. Surrey Batting Coach Jim Troughton remains as Batting Coach. Troughton helped the Oval Invincibles to their famous three-peat from 2023-2025. Nic Pothas, Surrey’s fielding coach, also joins the set-up as Fielding Coach. MI New York and MI Emirates Bowling Coach Mitchell McClenaghan joins as MI London Bowling Coach. McClenaghan played 77 white-ball matches for New Zealand between 2012-2018, plus a wealth of franchise cricket including 56 matches for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL.
