MI London made a splash at The Hundred Auction in Piccadilly Lights, the UK’s first major sports auction, building a women’s squad of world-class cricketers with a solid foundation of Surrey stars.

History is made as Chinelle Henry becomes MI London’s first-ever signing in the auction, with the hammer going down at for £70,000. The West Indian all-rounder is known for hitting big sixes and is a highly-skilled fast bowler.

Scottish bowler Kirstie Gordon, who qualifies as a local player, becomes MI London’s next signing for £55,000! Kirstie joins the team having taken 41 wickets in the first five season of The Hundred.

The winning captain of The Hundred 2025 is the next player who will call the Kia Oval home this summer. Hollie Armitage, who lifted the trophy with Northern Superchargers, joins MI London for £45,000.

Australian international all-rounder Nicola Carey, who plays for Mumbai Indians in the WPL, joins MI London for £95,000!

Alice Davidson-Richards, an important part of the Surrey set-up who knows the Kia Oval very well, will be playing in MI London colours later this summer. She signs for £30,000 – and everyone breaks for lunch at the Auction.

MI London come racing out of the blocks in the post lunch session of the auction, snapping up Surrey stars Kira Chathli for £80,000 and Alice Monaghan for £27,500, whilst also picking up left-arm bowler Alexa Stonehouse for £42,000. The paddle stayed in the air as coach Lisa Keightley and team sealed three signings in a row!

USA bowler Tara Norris joins MI London for £35,000 after a bidding war with Trent Rockets. The left arm seamer is a new ball expert and plays her county cricket for Lancashire.

Lancashire captain and wicketkeeper Ellie Threlkeld signs for MI London for £15,000. The experienced player represented Manchester Originals for four seasons before spending 2025 at Trent Rockets.

Surrey spin twins Kalea Moore and Dani Gregory rejoin MI London to conclude our Women’s Auction business.

All-rounder Kalea Moore returns to MI London after spending the 2025 season with us. Kalea, who we signed for £15,000, was Player of the Match in the 2023 final as her Southern Brave team beat the Northern Superchargers.

Leg spin bowler Dani Gregory returns for £15,000. Dani has come through the ranks at Surrey and was part of our successful 2021 and 2022 campaigns.
