With two months to go until the start of The Hundred competition, MI London today launched their campaign ‘This is MI London’ to bring to life the identity of the recently renamed team and showcase their connection to London and its community.

The campaign celebrates the diverse and multi-cultural people, places and communities of the city and features some of the team’s biggest stars including Sam Curran, Danni Wyatt-Hodge, Nathan Sowter, Alice Davidson-Richards and Alice Monaghan.

‘This is MI London’ puts local people front and centre of the video and photography elements of the campaign. Featuring businesses from around the Kia Oval including Brixton Bazaar, Jefferson’s ice cream shop and Windmill Dry Cleaners. Students from Surrey’s State School Sixth Form Cricket programme as well as the ACE Programme charity were also part of the filming.

The campaign showcases an evolution of the Oval Invincibles identity developed in the first five years of The Hundred, as MI London reflectauthentically the real places and people of London.

The Hundred is an exciting short format of the game that is throwing the doors open to everyone, growing a new audience for the sport and bringing some of the game’s biggest superstars to the UK.

Sam Curran, MI London captain, said “This is a new era for The Hundred and I’m incredibly proud to be leading the team this summer on my home ground. We’ve made some really exciting signings across the men’s and women’s teams and we will be looking to bring in titles six and seven.

“The Kia Oval is without a doubt the ground where the Hundred is at its best. We get great support for both the women and the men’s teams, an amazing atmosphere in the stands and the best place to play the game in the country.”

MI London will host four home double‑headers at the Kia Oval this summer, starting with a season opener against Sunrisers Leeds on 21 July, followed by a London derby with London Spirit on 29 July, a clash with Manchester Super Giants on 2 August, and concluding with a high‑profile rematch of the 2025 final against Trent Rockets on 8 August.
